Participant Terms and Conditions: Celebrate Lunar Festival 2026 Breakdancing Battle: Dynasty of Dance
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Breakdancing Exhibition/Competition (Dynasty of Dance) held as part of the Celebrate Lunar Festival 2026.
1. Event and Activity Details
- Event: Celebrate Lunar Festival 2026
- Location: Luminary Green Park, 437 N Terry Ave, Orlando, FL 32801
- Date: Saturday, January 31, 2026
- Activity Timeframe: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Specific performance/battle times will be provided upon check-in)
- Nature of Event: This is a community event celebrating the Lunar New Year. Participants are expected to contribute to a welcoming, positive, and supportive atmosphere.
2. Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Acknowledgment of Risk: By participating in the Activity, the undersigned participant acknowledges that breakdancing and related physical activities involve inherent risks of physical injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, or more serious injuries. Participation is entirely voluntary.
Release of Liability: The participant hereby agrees to assume all risks and responsibility for any and all injuries, damages, property loss, or claims of any nature whatsoever, which may result from or arise out of participation in the Activity, whether caused by the negligence of the participant or others.
Indemnification of Made with Max LLC: The participant expressly agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Made with Max LLC, its owners, affiliates, organizers, employees, volunteers, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, costs, expenses, and causes of action arising from any injury, damage, or loss sustained by the participant or any third party arising out of participation in the Activity.
3. Participant Code of Conduct
All participants must adhere to a high standard of conduct and sportsmanship to maintain the community focus of the Event.
- Respectful Behavior: Participants must maintain respectful behavior towards judges, staff, fellow dancers, and audience members at all times.
- Content and Language: The use of foul language, crude comments, explicitly inappropriate gestures, or sexually suggestive themes during the Activity or on Event grounds is strictly prohibited.
- Consequence of Violation: Any participant found in violation of the Code of Conduct will be immediately dismissed from the Activity and the Event, with no appeal or refund (if applicable). Made with Max LLC reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the spirit of the Event.
4. Required Logistics and Check-in
- Mandatory Check-in: All participants must arrive on site and check in by 4:00 PM (the latest). Failure to check in by this deadline may result in forfeiture of your spot.
- Festival Access and Warm-Up: Participants are welcome to arrive as early as 12:00 PM when the main festival begins to enjoy the full Event and utilize designated areas for warming up.
- Equipment: Participants are responsible for their own personal equipment, including appropriate attire and footwear.
- Schedule: While the Activity is scheduled for 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, participants must remain available and ready during this entire window.
5. Entry Fee and Prize Structure
- Entry Fee: A non-refundable fee of $25.00 USD is required to secure a participant spot in the Breakdancing Battle.
- Limited Spots: Participation is strictly limited to the number of available spots and is confirmed only upon receipt of the entry fee.
- Prize: The winning participant(s) will be awarded a prize of $500.00 USD. All taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
